Dhruv O.J. Pinto didn’t come up with Empresario in a boardroom. It began in a market coffee in hand, people-watching far from home, in a place that felt familiar and entirely different all at once. As the morning unfolded, the pattern became hard to ignore: everyone was part of a network. Traders, suppliers, buyers, brokers each moving with purpose inside their own lane. Efficient. Resourceful. Proud of how they did things. And yet the lanes didn’t connect. Information stalled. Opportunities didn’t travel. Value leaked in the gaps not because anyone lacked talent, but because there wasn’t a system holding it all together.

That observation became the point.
